San Jacinto Monument

This thing is awesome. Super tall (a bit taller than the Washington Monument) and lots of neat architecture. It is topped with a huge star, representing the Lone Star of Texas. The star is designed with extra points, so it looks like a normal 5 pointed star from multiple directions.
It was a bit windy and we were a bit tired, so we only spent a few minutes here. Anna loved running up and down the stairs and looking up (way way up) to the top of the monument.
