New Haven Museum

It was super hot outside (and inside) so we stopped at the New Haven Museum to enjoy some air conditioning.
The museum was a bit small but had some interesting artifacts, such as a large model boat a New Haven sailor found in the English Channel, which he brought back to New Haven and used as a sort of mascot for parades. They also had tons of old photos, drawings, and paintings of New Haven. It was neat to look at the old maps, too.
Anna didn’t really enjoy it. We wouldn’t let her touch anything and this made her quite upset. We even forgot to take a photo until we were on our way out, which is the reason for the poor photo quality.
