Enders State Forest
We ran into Enders State Forest on our annual 4th of July road trip. We of course love the name.
We stopped in the parking lot to take a picture of the sign but then we saw people in swim suits coming out of the woods. We gathered our toddler and headed down the path to see what was there. We were very excited to find a brook (informally named Enders Brook) that had some small waterfalls. Anna enjoyed picking up sticks, leaves, rocks, and feeling the moss in the water.
We didn’t stay long, but it isn’t far from home so we are going to try to get some friends to go up with us later, preferably with more appropriate attire (swim suits!).
